If anyone has Dm'd a D&D campaign than could you answer this question.

How do you stop players from using spells if there's a bit that you don't want them to use spells for.
I've over-used the whole "For some reason your spells fizzle" line a few times, need a better excuse.

you could ahve what ever it is me resistant to spells ie magic rock of DM says so
